Željana is the founder of Proventus and a language professional with more than 20 years of experience in interpreting and translation.

Her academic journey began at the University of Bologna, where she completed a Bachelor’s degree in English and French Languages and Literatures and obtained the title Dott.ssa in Lingue e Letterature Straniere. She later continued her specialist education at the University of Leeds, completing a Master’s degree in Interpreting and Translation Studies.

To further develop her professional expertise, she attended specialised courses in Business French at the Sorbonne in Paris, gaining additional knowledge of professional communication in an international business environment.

In 2007, she founded her own language services company, combining her academic background, linguistic expertise, and practical experience to provide high-quality interpreting and translation services to institutions, companies, and private clients.

Over the years, she has worked in diverse multilingual environments, including cooperation with state institutions, foreign companies, and international organisations. Her experience includes court interpreting, conference interpreting, certified translations, and professional translation projects.

Her approach is based on accuracy, confidentiality, and a commitment to helping clients communicate clearly and effectively across languages and cultures.
